so i am now back in the heat of the south. this is a picture of my "welcome home" cake given to me by the always wonderful Skeene couple. (they are pretty fantabulous.) in case you cant really make it out it is a "Leaning Animal, Pork Chop" on top of a cake pooping brown jelly beans. let me tell you, nothing says love like a pooping plastic cake ornament.

you should also feel loved that we keep wanting to call you to tell you that portland is awesome. even though it just SEEMS like we're trying to make you jealous. we really just love you.
tonight we were driving randomly and we accidentally got into a park. this park includes a sign that points to the right and is labeled "Volcano" ... not exactly a sight I've ever seen before.
